Areas of Focus

- Web Accessibility
- Instructional Materials Accessibility
- Accessible Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Procurement
As a public university, California State University, Sacramento is required to make electronic and information technology accessible to all students, employees and the general public, including those individuals with disabilities by employing the that align with the (WCAG) 2.0 AA.
The advantages of universal Web accessibility go beyond legal requirements and the usefulness of a Web site to people with disabilities. Applying universal design concepts to a Web site make it accessible to all site visitors, including those visiting with graphics turned off or with mobile devices.
The ATI Steering Committee and Subcommittees continue to meet and develop policies, procedures and practices that are structured around accessibility. The purpose of the ATI Steering committee is to put in place processes and procedures that faculty, staff, and administrators have to abide by.
